Plugged in the ccm and it's not talking to vag com and nothing happening. Could it be some fuses as well ? It did go with quite a bang the other day!!

I got the box out today... Same symptoms as you. Got a new box coming tomorrow from TPS £190+ vat. Not bad considering Audi want £294 for the same part!! Just need to re code the fobs and all should be well. As for the leak... Drain under the water bottle isn't the culprit. The water in mine is slig...

I do indeed have milltek exhaust,, that's a very useful link bilko cheers...... Im gona get stuck in tomorrow and get this carpet lifted as much as i can... Can this be a tedious task in itself ??

Its an avant, water in the back although it was on a slight hill!! I lifted a part of the carpet in the front just there and its still quite wet. Need to get right in about it tomorrow. I seen a clip on you tube.. on a normal a6 the drain is under the battery in the front of car against the bulkhead...

Got the dreaded water ingress... rear passenger footwell 2" deep in water after heavy rain over the weekend. Central locking alarm and elec windows started playing up... tried drying it out as much as I could. I had to use the car and when i was driving there was a loud bang from under the passenger...
