Re: Audi RS5 Pics

Not a trend, Audi wouldn't tint the side windows claiming it was illegal. Got it, same here from the law perspective, that's really dark so no way on the sides. We generally go to tint specialty shops here rather than the dealer to get a choice of shade; materials and advice to keep out of popo ran...

Re: Audi RS5 Pics

Sadly this appears to be a very slow forum, too busy driving and working I hope. But as you ask, non uniform tint looks awful, to me. If it's a trend there could you explain, seriously, not being funny, I'm a brit too. Is that 20% or even less btw? In California it is not legal to tint the front sid...

RE: Re: Good deal from Audi on oil

I miss the UK a lot, but not the price of everything. Equivalent of £5 / l. incl tax is the standard price before special offers of Castrol 5W40 in Cali. You don't want to know the price of cars either.

1000+ miles on mine and they perform way past my bravery. They were a last minute decision at $249 (150 pounds 'ish) and no regrets. Had Toyo Proxes T1R before these, horrible squealing waste of money.

DRC explodes - Xpost

After getting an all new DRC fitted, the owner complained of the ride height being much too high but was rebuffed by the dealer. Good job he wasn't buffing up his tailpipes at the time it happend.

RE: Re: RE: How often do you get your RS4 serviced??

Interesting that you have the long intervals in the UK. The US version is 5k; 15k; 25k; 35k etc OR every 12 months whichever's first. Not that they actually do very much other than oil. I always change oil at 5k between services too. There's so many sensors that I can't see much harm in longer inter...

RE: Rear shelf vibrating when music playing.

I used Dynomat for that. Stuck bits wherever I could under the grill and inside the boot under the shelf too. I swapped out the original speaker for a Pioneer sub and new amp and the Dynomat has worked out pretty well.

If you go for the "full" Miltek system you might want to read this thread: http://www.rs246.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=76220&highlight=speed+exhaust I'm not sure if Miltek have changed their design subsequently... Oxygen sensors have a response time of 100ms or more, and unless th...

Sharpens up throttle response, opens the exhaust valve at more places in the rev range, moves the side bolsters on those cool seats you have in the UK. Pay attention next drive ;) Before you buy, get the DRC shocks checked for leaking. Clever suspension but with a flaw. And I am completely unqualifi...

Not super high or super low, don't know if GMG's dyno has a rep for being conservative. Sure the 91 robs you of 5hp or so vs 93. If you want to compare, go down the road to GT-Pro in Fullerton, they have a Dynojet which many say (about Dynojet not GT-Pro) gives higher numbers. No one got big numbers...

Good picture here

A bunch of folks in the US including me have those Centric Posi pads to replace the stock ones. Way way less dust, no noise, braking is fine.
