I have a deflapped, port/polish IM. I can tell you that removing the flaps themselves do not cause a CEL. If you put the back in tomorrow you will still have a CEL. if the shafts (that the tumble flaps would be screwed in) are still connected to (unbroken) actuator arms and there is plenty vacuum to...

In order for you to remove the tumble flaps you will have to punch out the freeze plugs. There is a company out there that recommends reusing them by applying loctite upon reinstall but I strongly suggest you don't. New freeze plugs can be sourced (not by Audi) but you'll have to dig a little bit. P...

Jules- if you are referring to the mugello, that setup is not staggered (19x10 all around). The rolling diameter was a off as I was running 265/35 RE-11s. I have just changed them out to 275/30 PSS which is closer to stock RD.

I am not sure about the DG. Iirc those are 20" HREs.
