FOR SALE: VAGCOM (NOW SOLD)
Ok, now that I am out of Audi's and will be for a while I'm clearing out some of the kit still in my garage. What I have for sale is a genuine VAG-COM (VCDS) from Ross-Tech which comes with all original paperwork and presented in a neat blue plastic box (unlimited VIN). Thought I'd offer on here fir...

Re: RS5 Discs & Pads (Front and Rear)
Ok, front discs are 8TO 615 301 so will fit RS5 B8, RS4 B8 and R8.
Rears are 8TO 615 601A so will only fit the pre-facelift RS5 (2010-) as the offsets are different by 5mm.
Based on this will either sell as one lot or split into fronts and rears.

Re: RS5 Discs & Pads (Front and Rear)
Brand new, bought them for my 2010 RS5 but traded it in for a 2014 RS5 so they were never fitted.
AFAIK they should also fit the RS4, will confirm part numbers tonight and let you know.

Re: I'm being eaten alive ......
I has that on my Misano Red B7.....maybe the critters like red! I too had it outside rather than garaged and they had a good chew around the engine bay. £600 to get the worst of it repaired only for the little barstewards to come back and have another go. I looked at all kinds of devices from the so...

SOLD - 20" Titanium Rotors
4 off 20" titanium rotors. Genuine Audi OEM, taken from my 2011 RS5 and fully refurbished so all straight and unused since so no tyres fitted. Did have plans to fit winter tyres for the new RS5 but bought a Jeep instead so happy to keep the RS5 tucked away in the garage when the weather is bad. Pm w...

Re: New RS5 arrived today
I would say that this one looks marginally lower than DRC but don't think there is much in it at all. Another ride out today and definitely feels better than the old one which makes me think that there was probably something wrong with the suspension set-up but just that Audi couldn't find anything....

New RS5 arrived today
So, dropped of the old RS5 this morning (MY11) and picked up the new one. So far I haven't done many miles but thought I'd post on some of the more obvious differences: SatNav - At last Audi have seen fit to gift us the full complement of digits when entering a post code, won't be regarded as signif...

Sepang Blue Touch-up Paint [GONE]
After trading in the previous RS5 for a new one of a different colour I now have an unused Sepang Blue paint touch-up kit (primer, paint, lacquer & applicators) from Paints4U surplus to requirements.
Can't remember how much it cost but wasn't expensive so free to a good home - pm me if interested.

Re: Cost of discs and pads all round.
Doesn't look a bad price, I paid £1400 for supply only of front and rear discs (wavy) and pads from Stoke Audi. I had looked around eBay to see if I could get them cheaper but couldn't find any at that time. The only downside was I ordered them before I decided to change the RS5 for a new one so loo...

Re: Goodbye RS5.....
Steady on, I prefer a V10 R8 to a PFL RS 5! Well if we're going to compare apples with apples then I too prefer a V10 R8 to either a PFL or FL RS5! TBH I almost signed up for a new V10 but there was a part of me that I couldn't convince to part with the cash (as a Scotsman I can only assume it is s...

Re: Goodbye RS5.....
The new car looks great ; really like Suzuka and really like black optics. Add Rotors and B+O to make even better ! Out of interest, and reason why you decided against the C63 ? Enjoy the new RS5  There were a number of factors. The C63 was good to drive but it's a car that looks good from...
