Bump for mileage/price update, also added new front discs and pads at Basingstoke Audi.

My wife is now starting to have second thoughts as she thinks she'll miss it!

I got 35K out of my last set of PZeros, which I was very chuffed with. Many of those were motorway miles, but some of them were track miles at Goodwood and Nurburgring, so it had a fair mix. I went for the same again when I replaced them, the dealer did it for under £1200.

Edited to update the mileage - I accidentally drove it to the South of France and back, then up to Scotland. Didn't miss a beat!

By chance, Audi brought a white C7 RS6 along to a show in the highlands on Friday, where I'm currently on holiday. I got to have a good nose round it, sat in it, fired it up. I wasn't able to drive it, but the sales guy encouraged me to blip the throttle in Dynamic mode, which resulted in nice crack...

Don't get hung up on ceramics unless you'll track it or it's running 700+bhp. The standard setup does the job perfectly well for fast road use; I've never had a problem with a long pedal (including sessions the Nurburgring and Goodwood), just make sure the fluid is refreshed every 2 years - or more ...
