Can anyone recommend a good detailer anywhere in the North East of England.
My paintwork needs some professional TLC & I don't have the time or patience to do it myself.
Cheers,
Gordon

My EPC light has been coming on & then going out 5 mins. later for the past 3 weeks now. The car is running fine, the only problem is when the light is on you can't go above 7000rpm. :( It's going in on Friday to get the brakes discs changed & I'm going to have it checked with Vagcom, so I'll left y...

Re: Dyno Result
any more pics of where this hose is or are we talking about the valve on the rear tailpipe? Difficult to tell for sure from the pics Wouldnt mind checking this out also Yeah, it was the hose connected to the tailpipe. It was easily fixed by plugging the hose with a grub screw; I also did the other ...

Dyno Result
2006: 30000 miles
Dastek (Motoscope)
356 bhp @ 7687rpm (4th Gear)
300lbf @ 3468rpm
ESP Fully off
I subsequently found out that I had a vacuum leak from a hose connected to the exhaust which resulted in power loss.

Lucky B@stards!
You’ll have to take some good photos for us that aren’t lucky enough to go.
It sounds like an amazing trip but there is no way I could get this one past the ‘Leg Iron’.
I hope you all have a blast.

Re: Help
I live in Teesside & I've got a bloke who does all the work on my RS, he used to work for Teesside Audi but decided to set up as an independent; really knows his stuff.
I think he charges about £20-£30 for a diagnostic.
PM me if you want his details.

Nice Surprise
Just as I was pulling onto a duel carriageway this morning, I noticed what I thought was a sprint blue RS4 saloon behind me that whizzed past me last week on the way to work. So naturally, I booted down the slip road, only to have this car cruise past me, it wasn’t an RS4 but a brand new RS6 saloo...

What a Car!
Just finished cleaning the car & went out for a quick blast to dry the brakes off. I was waiting at a roundabout & a Suzuki TL1000R pulled up beside me & he nodded, either in appreciation or was wanting a challenge; I took it to be the latter & booted it onto a half mile stretch of duel carriageway....

All is well
I'm all sorted now thanks, just saving up for my X-Pipe & back box from AAS. There is one thing that I have noticed since plugging the rear vacuum pipes, there is now a distinct 'flat spot' at 6000rpm. I have got no idea why this is but I'm not too concerned because after I get the new exhaust fitte...

Man Light
My EPC light would come on then go out again and eventually the man. light came on. I guess when this happened, it resulted in a total vacuum loss to the whole system.

Plug them!
Just did mine last week.
Put a couple of grub screws into the ends of the black flexi hoses' & tighten the ends up with the end clamps. This will ensure that is no vacuum loss.
