Re: C7 RS6 UK Sale count?

As for websites www.howmanyleft.co.uk and ownvehicle.askmid.com , I for one was unaware of them and found them both useful, as well as interesting.

Re: Theft excess - WOW!

Is your theft excess influenced by your postcode perhaps?

C8 RS6

Audi RS6 Avant 2019's Facebook page has these 2 images of the upcoming C8 RS6 - are they new releases or have these images been out a while and I've missed them?

Ditto - had a Moth on the roof. Eurotunnel just needed to know which carriage to allocate us to.

Re: Squeaky brakes

Hi Phil, I think you will find lots of earlier entries on "squeaky brakes". My carbon ceramics seemed to get a bit squeaky around the 15K miles mark, but now at over 20K I no longer hear them; could be I'm going deaf of course, but don't think so! I was suggested at a service 4K back that the pads t...

Re: Stop start - rough restart issue

Sam's right. I can fully recommend Audi's Ice Driving in Sweden as the place to practice it. They had us fully turning off the traction control (ESP), before flicking the cars (B8 S4's) on the 7.5K circuit on the frozen lake, up near Arvidsjaur, at every opportunity - huge fun.

Re: Bose audio upgrade?

I had the same thoughts as you Fozi. The solution was recommended by Jo and Anthony at Sextons, Portsmouth (I am lucky to have them not too far away from me as I have always found them to be excellent) was to have them fit a readily removable bass that sits in the boot. Problem solved and if I need ...

Very nice. Do like Sepang. Looks like you might be able to narrow down the plate a couple of inches either side.

Re: Launch Control

As Eddie said as the car is an auto and not DSG so it has a proper auto box that doesn't have a proper launch control. However, if you turn traction off and put it into dynamic mode, press the brake then press the accelerator it will hold the revs at about 3k and hold the car on the brake for a sor...

Re: Tyre Pressure Sensors

Got the price from Audi OEM £101 each 😫 Do look at these from UK Parts Direct, based in Westbury, Wiltshire. They are less than £40 each. The guys there are very helpful indeed and sorted out some for my mates 2007 Audi R8 V8: https://www.ukpartsdirect.com/tpms-products/tpms-tyre-pressure-replaceme...

Re: Real life fuel range

Really easy. Did Newcastle to Warrington and back yesterday and still have 100 miles range in the tank, albeit the tank was brimmed before I left -10 miles between station and home. So that’s over 170 miles each way and before people say I was crawling all the way, did it in less than 2.5 hours eac...

Re: RS6 TO RS6 PE ??

Interesting pan roof is the one thing, having had two I’m not arsed about. Never really used it, don’t miss the light and they always bloody squeak or rattle. There has been a whole topic on whether to spec or not spec a pan. roof, so don't wish to re-open that debate. Had no squeaks or rattles fro...

Re: DRC Front shocks ???

I feel for all you guys who are having trouble !!!!! I'm pretty much fed up with the whole DRC thing ! Audi have been having problems with them for a seriously long time. Both my RS4's had DRC problems. The first B7 RS4 they eventually fixed, but when it came to my brand new B8 RS4 I was simply tol...

Re: Negari Blue

When seen in isolation, can even the "Noggys" tell a Sprint Blue from a Noggy. I like the Sprint colour myself. I better add I like both - so I don't get trolled :bash: Perhaps Mac, if he buys it, should start a rival camp the "Sprinters"? They could have regular battles perhaps? - on the track of c...
