Re: Anyone know this S4?
I didn't get to look at it actually - things got in the way. I'm back in Scotland so probably won't get to see it now. But he said he'd let it go for £4800. Is that not cheap? It has been a while since I've owned one right enough but I haven't seen one advertised anywhere close to that.

Anyone know this S4?
Hi folks,
Just wondering if anyone knows this vehicle?
I thought I could paste a photo but it seems that "this forum has disabled image sharing from this app" which is a bummer.
Anyway, it's a silver B6 S4 standard avant. KS03OFY. 105k miles on the clock. Down Brighton way.
Thanks
Jonny

RE: Rear wiper motor
No i haven't - might be the best place to start. I have tried to get to the motor, but am finding it very difficult to remove the boot trim. Any ideas? I know that there are spring clips that you need to undo but i cant find them.

Rear wiper motor
The nozzle on my rear wiper has jammed and i suspest that the washer fluid has leaked into the wiper motor as this no longer works. Does anyone know how easy it is to remove this and then strip it to inspect it? I thought I might dry it out and then put a voltage across it to see if it is nackered. ...

brake pads
There are a few posts on which brand of pads to go for but i can't find any about where to buy from. Can anyone suggest any websites to buy replacement pads?
Also, is this something that most folk do themselves or do you tend to take them in somewhere?

Hi folks,
I bought my s4 avant with a broken catch on the warning triangle compartment on the reverse side of the boot door/lid. Any idea where i can buy a new one of these? I have removed it and glued it, but its broken again.

iso or quadlock
Hi folks,
I'm going to buy a dension ipod connector for my S4 (B6) that has a bose symphony head unit. Can you tell me whether this is the 20 pin iso connection or the quadlock. I think i read somewhere that it is the iso connection but i havent got the removal keys yet to have a look.
Thanks.

Squint DIS lines
Hi folks,
I've noticed that the 3 lines that seperate the information on my DIS aren't parallel/perpendicular to the frame that surrounds the DIS. Obviously the actual screen is mounted slightly squint but how easy is it to get to this, and then how easy would it be to straighten?
Thanks
Jonny

Having had a look at my light switch, there is a small switch next to the main dial that has a picture of a headlight with a small clock next to it. The switch has 2 settings, 1 or 0. I'm hoping this is what you are talking about, although havent had the chance to leave my office to try it yet! Thanks

Headlights auto-on
A friend of mine has an S5 and he has set-up his car so that when he unlocks it, his headlights come on. Since my S4 has the "auto" light function, i wondered if i could set this up also? (i dont have the manual for the car just yet - it is being sent up to me!)
Thanks
