Re: misfire and stutering Help!!

okay new update...
It seems that when filling the water coolant bottle for the engine the split water/coolant all over the left bank and it went into the coils...
They have replaced the coils free of charge and everything seems normal now.

Re: misfire and stutering Help!!

they didnt change the plugs and have checked the oil cap and dip stick they seem to be secure.. I also think it might be a vacuum leak just very strange that its happened after a basic service, unless the oil filter was not screwed on correctly but dont think you can get that wrong.. I have new plug...

it is possible, the R8's have it and have a RNSE as far as i know you just need a different module. I got my hands on one recently so will try it soon

plug your car into VCDS and see if there are any errors, otherwise your parking control module might be blown

Re: Ipod dock

might have to check the coding on VCDS, if its showing a CD player or aux you need to re-code if you have an Original AMI.
Also what cable do you have the runs from the AMI and Blue or RED one, and is it original?

Re: Sorry - parking sensor questions again !

it could be possible in theory, we install a lot of PDC's (OEM) ones however it would require a new control unit and possibly new sensors and wiring. so put a a3 2012 spec PDC into and Rs4 with the control unit and RNS-E. but it would be a big job and you would have to know what you doing with the i...

Re: Better protecting standard airbox from heat? Removing fl

as far as I understand the right side cooler, or AUX cooler... is necessary for cars in very warm climates. So thats why the guys in the UK run them with no problems where in SA we need to add another one similar to the JHM solution
