Wanted: Standard B6 S4 front brake calipers

I am looking for a pair of standard front brake calipers fitted to the B6 model S4. These calipers were fitted to cars from March 2003 to November 2008 and with 345mm front brake discs. Also fitted to various "cooking" A4 and A6 models in the same period Audi part number 8EO 615 124 B Ate part numbe...

It took 4 attempts totalling over 3 weeks in the dealers to stop the water ingress into my boot lid. It seems to me alright now but I have little faith anymore.

That's just down the road from me, so I'll probably come along. Any other dates would be fine too.

Mine's been in twice with this problem and has recently developed it for a third time. The first time round the dealer applied an Audi re-work instruction to re-seal part of the boot lid, but it didn't fix it fully. They then did a major job on it with a bit of local improvisation. That worked fine ...

You need to format them as FAT16.

Re: RE: Help for Heroes Bovington Event

Well I hope you get in! Looks like it could be great fun - not too sure about the 'run-off' areas though (check the video) - im sure all those tress and pillars will be fine for tanks.... I've been around the Bovington track countless times in both tanks and Land Rovers and you're right about the r...

When I picked my Phantom Black RS4 saloon up from Newcastle Audi last week after getting the DRC fixed, they had an Imola Yellow RS4 saloon in waiting to be collected. I've never seen one in that colour before - can't say I'm a fan!

I wonder if you'll get one of their customer service follow-up phone calls asking if you were 'highly delighted' with their service!

Re: RE: Re: RE: Sport mode

So up to 20% throttle, you get LESS torque with Sport engaged? Never knew that... can't get owt for nowt As it's requested torque, not delivered, you presumably could actually get any shape you wanted including 100% output from only 1% input. Audi must have chosen the Sport mode curve to preserve d...

... it drank petrol like an S4 if not worse, I'm sure he said he averaged 16 mpg. He must have had a heavy right foot. My old S-line Special Edition quattro had the same 220bhp engine and I usually got 30+ mpg. There was a DTM edition for sale in the showroom when I got my RS4. I thought it looked ...

Alex, did you buy your Audi from another Colebrook & Burgess dealer? I didn't realise you were in my neck of the woods! No, my local dealer now is a branch of C&B (aren't they all in this area?!) but I used to live in Yorkshire. My previous local Audi dealer is part of the Sytner group. I would rat...

According to the on board computer I'm getting around 21mpg when commuting and better on longer runs, but dividing the distance travelled between fill ups by the fuel used gives only around 17.5mpg. I don't think the computer can be trusted (or there's a leak in my fuel tank!).

It was the 4th Audi I had bought from that particular dealer but the other three were new rather than 'Approved Used'. Their workshop seemed to be particularly sloppy as the service paperwork wasn't properly in order either, although the work had been done. It used to be my local dealership (hence t...
