Hi, I replaced the shocks all round on my S4 recently so have the old ones in the garage. The rears I think are ok the fronts are a bit soft but not leaking or knocking. Free to anyone who has a use for them as I just want to get them out of the garage. Will need to pick up. I'm based in the reading...

Whats the benefit of these hybrid turbos ? Are they much cheaper ? Why would this be a good option compared to a K04 for instance ? 275 at the wheels. I've just unplugged the MAF. The warning lights appeared on the dash so it was not connected. It seemed almost the same as with it connected. Very difficult to say without knowing if you've run vagcom checks or not. The problem could very well be the MAF, but then again it could be a whole host of other sensors which have failed. Try running the car with the MAF disconnected to see if it runs better. I've not run the VAG com as I don't o...

Just got my car on the dyno and it made a hugely impressive 204 bhp at the flywheel (154 at the wheels)

It was suggested a new MAF would be the solution.

Is this likely and how much would a new MAF cost ?
