Re: A partner for the RS6

Looking a bit closer at the photo, is this Works Service in Newport Pagnell? From the '90's Vantage in the background. If so I've heard very good reports from customers and have been invited to a few events there which have been top notch. Wish they had been open as a dealer when I bought mine as th...

Re: A partner for the RS6

Had the predecessor to this - the V12 Vantage. Awesome car, real presence and the noise from the engine was awesome - good old school displacement. Had some quality issues with it though and ended up getting shot after two years as I couldn't bear dealing with the dealer & warranty claims any more. ...

Re: New car spec advice

I loved the deep dished look of the 20's and ordered on those - this was 2 years ago when the emissions were under the lower band with the 20's as well. Not sure if the case now. 6 months later I bought some 21's from Germany and not looked back - no real difference in ride quality and the car looks...

Re: Vs Tesla Model S

Recently read that Tesla are withdrawing their free top-up/charging service, which I thought was quite a big USP for the brand. Yes, from April next year - it hasn't always been free but is on most models at the moment, it was originally designed to facilitate the longer distances. Most people are ...

Re: Vs Tesla Model S

This is only the P90D - the P100D would leave it even further behind. I've got a Model X (90D) coming in late Feb as a replacement for my Q7. Was looking to order an SQ7 but the Model X worked out roughly the same price on a similar spec, massively reduced running costs and a little bit faster (not ...

Re: My RS6 search is over

This bunch had that quote - http://www.broker4cars.co.uk/

I did a carwow search as well and that came back with some close numbers.

I'm guessing tomorrow being end of month is going to be the day to close if they are genuine offers.

Good luck!

Re: My RS6 search is over

Has anyone pulled the trigger on an SQ7 yet?

The discounts went away after the end of the month but coming back again now, £8,900 off through one broker. The man-maths starts to make sense at that discount.

Cheers,

Phil

Re: My RS6 search is over

Discounts have started early! My dealer rang today and said he can now sanction up to £6500 off the base price of a SQ7. Hardly any have been ordered apparently, so Audi are pushing the discount early. I can't say I'm surprised at that price, 'still a no go for me though. According to the Au...

Not needed - I took delivery of it last year.

Although I will admit to not believing it until I actually saw it...

Re: RS6 ORDERS ON HOLD

Homelink can be added to the facelifts - it's available in other countries so I made it a condition of order and Audi UK enabled it once the order was placed.

Re: Panther black with black styling pack..options?

Finally got around to cleaning mine today and got a good accidental picture of the panther black in the sunlight, huge amounts of different colours in it and under direct sunlight it looks fantastic. IMG_5909.JPG My admit I would have rather had the black styling pack as well so will be looking in t...

Re: Is this normal for a build week issue?

The stage reporting had a lot of lag in it - mine was in production build for a couple of weeks, day after phoning up for a quick check for any progress (none reported) I got a call that it had turned up on a transporter at the dealer...

Re: Another Sepang for Sunday

Picked ours up this morning - the panther black looks superb under the sunlight - relative sleeper spec with the 20'' wheels and no quattro on the front Unfortunately cannot post any pictures at the moment as it's locked in the garage whilst scaffolding is removed but will get some up as soon as it ...

Re: RS6 Test Drive.

Looks like you live near me then - was equally surprised during my vist that the new flagship MK dealership did not have an RS6 at all, especially as they made a big thing in the press at launch about the dedicated Audi Sport area... Bedford Audi have their new group demo being registered soon, it w...

Re: RS6 Test Drive.

I would say 10 mins to 30 mins would give you an idea of what it's like but not to really appreciate quite how good it is. We had one for a day whilst our Q7 was being serviced and used it on our normal routine - by the end of the day the car had sold itself, wind forwards 3 months and picking up ou...
