Re: RS6 cat back exhaust vers Milltek
Cannot vouch for the Milltek as I have a RS6 stuck on mine. Cat back system needed adapters made by milltek to take the s6 size to rs6 size diameter (52mm->62mm if I remember correctly). Also as the RS6 tips are oval then the back bumper will need a careful trim to get it to fit correctly - my garag...

Re: S6 Fuel Consumption...What ya getting?
My overall is sat at a steady 14.6 :(, thats my average since sept 2009. Keep thinking about selling it but then do a crazy 240 mile round trip for a spot of dinner for my missus birthday with friends and think otherwise - no way would I have liked to drive in the pouring rain and snow for nigh on 4...

Re: Yikes, it only went in for a service
Thought I would update about the manifold situation - it turned out to be good news in the end, bolt had not sheered off it just wasnt put back in at some time, my guess would be when the gearbox was fixed, grrrr, but no proof and it was done nearly 2 years ago. Anyway no further damage had been don...

Both hard tops.... One stunning Ibis white in Asda car park taking up 2 spaces - my missus said what a t**t taking up 2 spaces but I then said look where we are, no f**ker gives a monkey in this car park. I have even been sat in my car only for the offspring of said patrons to open their door straig...

Yikes, it only went in for a service

Gorgeous car, guy was driving around all last week with the roof off. I think this is the same guy that was driving an old style R8 hardtop for the past month - probably waiting for this to be delivered.

Re: S6 vs RS6 - the reality
Not having owned an RS6 can only comment on my experiences with a 99 plate S6 saloon. I have made two upgrades : 1) Original RS6 alloys (not copies) - fit straight on, no fouling of the arches etc, however ride comfort has been affected a bit but no complaints from my wife or kids 2) Original RS6 ex...
