MTM Clubsport RS6 0-60 3.6 217 mph Audi 4 wheel drive I suppose it's about whether you want something unique and enjoy the build process or just want the finished product on your drive to enjoy asap. Figures look impressive but do we have figures of what it can do. as in - quarter time 0-100 0-200 ...

I saw a development thread back along for a nitrous setup and the first thing to go was the rods. They buckled at 500ftlb. If it where me, I'd have to just go for a 996TT Really! rods went at 500ftlb??? surely not. I would of guessed they would take alot more than that. Well if that is the weak lin...

I'll eat my hat if you can twin turbo a B7 for less than the cost of what it takes to buy either a 2nd hand C6 RS6 or a GTR. You're looking at £40K for a supercharged one running ~500hp even if you pick up an old 55/06 plate aren't you? I'm sure the GTR boys will be along in a minute letting you kn...

It has been done as ive talked to a test driver of audi who drove it,never went into production as it would of been priced out of its sector and sit nearer lambos etc but it was tried in development stage so must physically fit, more than that i dont know but am working back at the german company i ...

Thanks for the replies everyone. To answer a few in one post - I know the compression ratio will need to change. Of course i will be changing this. I plan on running the engine at different stages and i guess something will fail. But there is no way around this if im the first to see how far you can...

Re: RE: Re: RE: rs4 v8 twin turbo?

If you want to do this to a B7, I think you're deep into uncharted territory. Suggest you give Doug a ring at MRC, but like aka_dk says, he's following the SC route for what must be logical reasons The right people can take a B5 RS4 (or even S4) to well past 800bhp, but I don't think anyone has yet...

Re: RE: rs4 v8 twin turbo?

I'd recommend a bike instead. Been there and done that, i like being able to take more than one passenger with me tho. I went from a more powerfull car to my RS6 and regreted it. The car was boring to be honest. Mainly down to the crappy paddle gearbox. I know 'griz' i think it was on here was tryi...

aka_dk wrote:go onto SRS and check out the MRC supercharged RS 4 with 500ps

I have seen the mtm before but 500ps just wont do it for me.

I want to be making at least 800bhp if i was going to return to a rs.

take it to a proper dino which locks onto the hubs rather than trying to get it to grip to rollers.

i have seen to many cars climb out of the dino rollers with anything over 450 bhp. You just end up killing tyres and getting false results.
