Re: New engine

Hallo all, I have a bit of a bad luck story. The last garage (non audi) to do a toothed belt change before I bought my RS4, apparently did not tighten the main nut on the crank pulley. Due to this, the nut loosened, the woodruff key sheared, and I now have probably massive damage to the engine, alt...

Re: RE: Keep it or not?

There are a number of B7 RS4 owners who've kept hold of their B5 RS4's. As lovely as the B7 is, it just doesn't have the soul of the B5. Think of yourself as a man with a beautiful loving wife and an older, dirtier and yet more attractive mistress. It's not OTT owning both at all. ;) I love it........

19ish, I have purchased many cars with low mileage and FSH, wrapped in cotton wool the lot. 9-10 year old cars that are not used, pipes start to go and other things. its better to use them.

Nuspeed http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=8043 comes with the bracket.

don't always go by the size of the bar as well, if the metal in more high tensile it is stiffer.

These are the brackets that a lot of people emulated as they were the first to use them as standard.

The pipe is cloth coated rubber as it is fuel pipe.

I would not use standard vac pipe. you can get wiff of fuel in there, even though is just on the vac side.
