Got stopped for similar reasons last week in my RS4 in Hertfordshire ..... again was very impressed by the fact that the police were actually looking out for thefts of cars of this type. My stop was a little more easily explained though - about 2 in the morning and they followed me for a mile or two...

Guys, take a look at www.rsquattro.com. It is run by a very friendly Belgian guy called Youry Bioul, and he has been selling these very items for a while now. Mine are in the post ;0)

Re. your initial comment about swapping your RS4 for a Lotus Exige S - don't do it!! I actually sold my brand new Exige S after only 6 months ownership, in order to buy my current RS4....... Although i miss the sheer head-turning beauty and pin-sharp handling (in the dry only!) of the Exige, overall...

RE: Quick Question About Disconnecting Exhaust Valves
Yup me too - found a great thread on here. In the end I did a fairly neat job, blocking the black tubes with a screw and a crimped mini-clamp in each case, that I got from Halfords for about 1.99 .

Given that I just sold my Lotus Exige S to make way (and in order to afford) the RS4, I think I'm perfectly placed to comment on whether or not I miss the extra handling characteristics offered by a light mid-engined sportscar over the RS4. And to be honest, I don't. Sure, I took the Exige on trackd...

RE: Re: RE: Water in boot lid?
I think this 'water in the bootlid' thing is a known problem with RS4s. I had the same problem with mine - the boot lid always filled with water after a rain storm (no leakage into the boot itself though). Took it in to Audi Hitchin and they diagnosed a probable fault with the rubber seals around bo...

I've just finished my third week of RS4 ownership too ..... and am in love with this car like no other. I traded up from a nearly near Lotus Exige S ..... which was a great car, don't get me wrong - but in a totally different world in terms of build quality. The RS4 oozes quality, plus also goes lik...
