Re: RNS-E trimmed to fit B5 Dash

Yes it's relatively easy to install, a bit of extra wiring needed to connect the FIS display if you want that.

£400 was the buy it now, but as someone has placed a bid that's gone... Happy bidding :biggrin3:

Re: Well, my RS3 has been dropped off for the brake fix!!

This is an interesting position... In April this year I had to compain to the heights of Audi UK to get my discs replaced as my car hadn't had the brake duct / cooler trim fitted. - I had very uneven brake wear and needed new discs in under 5k miles. - Annoyng that they haven't been back in touch wi...

RNS-E trimmed to fit B5 Dash

After over a year of not owning my B5 RS4, finally go round to listing the RNS-E and bluetooth unit that I removed before selling. This unit has been trimmed so quite nicely fit in a B5 facia/dash. See here for pictures.. http://m603.photobucket.com/albums/R32GUY/RNS-E/ And the auction http://cgi.eb...

Re: Audi Driver International 2012

Anyone know who the aged driver of the Audi UK R8 Spyder GT was? In all the excitement of my test drive I forgot to ask :-) Hats off to the hospitality though... Despite not knowing the prices of any of the merchandise the freebies were great.... Including my test drive in a RS4 at Millbrook next we...

Re: Audi Driver International 2012

A great day, really feel more trusting of my RS3 traction control now... Even if I did get cautioned for 'drifting' :biggrin3: That Rs6 was smoking badly, quick in a straight line though! Really enjoyed my spin in the in the GT, and won a session in the RS4 at Millbrook with Audi next week - bonus!...

Interesting, is that a full Milltek fitted or just the cat bypass?

Re: RS3 Recall

I'll be doing the same with mine, need to get round to swapping the wheels over though (back to original) and getting an arch scratch repaired.

Re: RS3 Recall

Is this a dealer contact recall or fit on request/complaint?

Re: RS3 Dab Radio?

I fitted a digital TV tuner with diversity aerials hidden in the A and C pillars - this also has DAB radio and although it's not interactive with the RNS-E buttons you get an optical eye and the remote is small enough. Bought from here: http://www.carlights.de/auto-dvb-t.html/ See my thread here: h...

Re: Front Parking Sensors Retro-Fit and Digital TV

I haven't but it's on my list to look at - I've just rebuilt my garage laptop last night (working VCDS) so will make headway soon with the coding.
- I found this interesting post on hidden ABS coding options:

Re: STOLEN RS3 interior - PLEASE READ

Did you by any chance pay or get the gap insurance fom the dealer? - I brokered this as free for my deal on the RRP. Check as it will cover any loses you have and prevent a cat d write off.

Hope it works our for you, good luck!

Re: Front Parking Sensors Retro-Fit and Digital TV

I was more interested in getting the acoustic display working through the RNS-E - you can get the sensors upgraded and fitted for about £500
