Take it back to where you bought it and tell them under s14 ss2 (i think) of the Sale of Goods Act the car is not of merchantable quality and you repudiate the contact and want your money back. Give them 14 days to return your money. I wouldn't bother with the warranty, as they may be right about we...

Right, as promised a quick review of the new gen 2 M3 V8. (Gen 2 i.e. new I-drive, paddle shift, updated rear and headlights etc). Had it two weeks and I have to say it is really growing on me. Both Rob and I sold our RS4's last autumn. I went for the M3, simply because it was the closest thing to a...

Money talks? Mine obviously didn't as I took it and spent it at BMW.

As for dealer / manufacturer to blame. Probably both. But manufacturer is the boss, so has to take responsibility.

Audi enjoy a reputation for building premium cars so people buy them, 'sales & service' is not required of most of them at present because they know the cars sell themselves. It is cyclical however, there will come a time when Audi may not be as popular, look what happened to Mercedes. Probelm for ...

Just got an M3 saloon with paddle-shift and adjustable dampers. In answer to the question - no. I dont think its hugely superior in any way, but I cant think of anything I am missing. The steering is more responsive, the brakes more progressive and the control centre makes you feel you have more con...

M3 with DCT and DCT (paddle-shift). Wanted to stay with Audi, but my local stealer offered me 5k less on a trade in than BMW and nothing off a new RS6! So went for the M3, which is comparable in most ways but with the upgrade of adjustable suspension and acclaimed 7 speed DCT. And not to mention 38k...

You are a brave man Scaghead! I am glad I traded my car in when I did. One of the reasons was the the prices have fallen to the point where they are in the reach of dick heads with points to prove. After reading your endless diatribe copper head, I know I made the right choice. And my discs were sco...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Wanted RS4 Avant or saloon .

Is your motor still for sale Rob? My friend would be interested as he cant find the one he wanted in the colour he wanted! I did say. Please PM me if still for sale. PS - what scoring on the discs? I never noticed any. My old one had scoring. Sounds like a newbie with some sour grapes. 5 posts coppe...

Trust me, you'll need more space when they are front facing with swinging feet. Nothing worse than being constantly kicked in the back by the young 'un let alon the damage to yhe rear of the seat. and lifting him in and out of the back through the front doors will become pretty tiresome too when he...

I think I would have written the same report, had I not just sold my rs4. Just had the carrera s for a day as well as I am considering alternatives at the moment. As a straight comparison, the Carrera s with the PDK is somewhat superior in performance to the RS4. Still dont think I would buy one, bu...

RE: Hello

Porsche to RS4. That sounds familiar!

Not sure about the seats, but my parking sensors were plenty loud enough and indipendent from the stereo. Get the dealer to check it again.
