why would you want the sensors on all the time ? i don't think it's a fault, it's pretty easy to turn on the sensors if you think you need them to park forwards, but understandably the rear ones activate as you reverse. I want them on so I don't have to think about it every time I pull up somewhere...

I've just spoken to Audi who have said that there is no fault. Apparently every time I park in a forward gear i.e at the side of the road or up to a wall in a pub car park I have to press the button to switch it on, this just sounds crazy having to think about this everytime I park. I take it mpg gets better when run in then. Mines only a month old.

BTW, after the mini eco disaster on wheels that was my Rangey sport 4.4 petrol I'm finding the RS4 decidely kind to me!! :D

Around town- 14-17 mpg
Dual carriageways 17-20 mpg
Motorways (sensible) 20- 24mpg, not reached 25 yet!
Motorways (100mph+) 16- 19mpg
Country roads (caning it) 11- 15mpg
