Re: BUYING the new C7 RS6 Avant

I'm looking to put down a deposit this week, currently the dealer is quoting an OTR price of £75,500 - but no word yet on the Dynamic or Dynamic Plus Options. I also heard there will be 21" alloys as an option, but apart from that it's anyones guess. The standard spec of the car is very impressive -...

I know have a confirmed order now for the R8 5.2 V10, it seems deliveries will start this year - but not exactly sure when, it beats waiting until spring 2010. Any further news of demos ? I opted for daytona grey, black leather, carbon blade and interior, parking package & tracker ....... I just nee...

Ok, here's my 2p worth, I also had a clicking/sqeaking noise when turning at low speeds. I took my car into the local Audi dealer and both front shocks are being replaced under warranty - I'll let you know how it goes once they have been replaced - however, I should also add I had my rear passenger ...

Hi guys,
thanks for all the feedback, it all makes interesting reading - I've had Good Year Eagles on a couple of older cars and hated them, so it seems I'll either stick with the Pirelli's or try to Conti's

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: play with 997 carrera s

this might shed a tiny bit of light, my previous car was a 997 Carrera 4 S, fitted with a sports exhaust and it certainly helped the car breath better. I noticed it was significantly sharper from stand still and the standard car quotes 4,8secs - 60mph, so if the car you were chasing had the sports e...

Tyre selection

Apologises in advance if this topic has been hit on before, but I couldnt scan through 33 pages of forums to check - recently a few of the motoring mags have been running tyre tests, some pretty interesting reading, especially the dry & wet lap times - some brands performing in the region of 5 - 6 s...

Hi guys I also had a leaking rear shock and had it replaced under warranty - bad news was that it the car only had 2,500 miles on the clock at the time. I've now started to get a similar noise coming from the front and both shocks will be replaced, again - under warrnaty - the car now has 5,000 mile...

I have a Misano pearl red RS4 Avant, bought it new from Dundee Audi in March this year. Personaly, I love the colour and it certainly seems to get many admiring glances. Everyones choices are different, I'd never go for a yellow one, but others do - so the choice is yours.

R8 "Exclusive" options

I just received a new brochure from the R8 team with the new exclusive options - I dare say some of you out there will opt for one or two - maybe all on the list, but at £3,750 for a luggage set or £1,600 for the RS4 bucket type seat, Audi are pushing it to far now. With regards to the seats - this ...

RE: V10 engined R8 ... due when?

I've heard it could slip to early 2009, I've changed my order from the V8 to the V10, but will find it interesting to see what the OTR pricing is going to be - best guestimate is approx £95k .......... anyone heard what it will be badged ? R8 V10 ........ or what about R10 ????

Absolutely awesome - on a damp track, what other cars would get close to that ?. As we all know lap times around the Ring are as a guide only as various companies will tweak their cars for the sheer publicity factor, slick tyres etc, but for my money, that time on a wet surface is more reflective of...

RE: RS4 Finishes Production, RS5 on its way?

Looking forward to getting more info on the RS5 but I read in Car mag that it's rumoured the RS5 will have a motor with twin turbos fitted - has anyone heard what size of an engine is being slotted in ?

RE: Proud New Owner of RS4 AVANT

Welcome to the forum, I've had my RS4 Avant since mid March - approaching 3,000miles and it gets better and better with each passing mile, I had a 997 Carrera 4S before and the RS4 just amazes the hell out of me, cheaper by approx 25k (with options), cheaper to insure, cheaper running costs and ever...

RE: Who do you insure with?

Direct Line for me also, but as mentioned before, it depends on your own circumstances, points/convictions, Postal Code, garaged and parked on the street overnight, yearly mileage etc etc. However, I got my RS4 insured for 45% of the cost of my previous insurance, on a 997 Carrera 4S

Hi guys, I chipped in my £1,500 at the beginning of July 07, I had the opportunity to put down a deposit a year or so ago - stupidly I didnt as I wasnt overly impressed by the pictures - but once you see the car in the metal it's a whole differant story. Now I have the frustration of waiting 2yrs fo...
